Lance Herndon, J.D.
Senior Advisor Client Relations
Mr. Herndon has spent 23 years in law, finance, taxation, tax resolution, debtor’s rights and regulatory compliance. He is a member of numerous tax related organizations and holds a J.D. degree from the University of Montana (1993), a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana (1990), substantial course work in Certified Managerial Accounting as well as an underwriting and real estate license. Lance has been a principle in several business entities focusing on tax, banking, real estate and distressed debtor services.
During the economic downturn he worked on a Department of Treasury program specializing in helping debtor’s retain their homes. Mr. Herndon is extensively trained in tax resolution and IRS code and regulation. With analytic skills and case analysis techniques, he identifies resolution strategies not typically identified. Lance will help you understand the process, your situation and options in a clear and understandable manner.
In his free time Lance is involved in many charities, in particular the Humane Society of the United States.
David Bjornson, J.D., LL.M.
Master’s in Taxation Tax Attorney
Mr. Bjornson has spent his 31 year legal career practicing law with a focus in taxation, including tax controversy, tax litigation, tax planning, business organizations, business transactions and alternative dispute resolution in lieu of litigation. Mr. Bjornson is the senior partner/member of Bjornson Law Offices, a distinguished firm originally established in 1998. He was formerly associated with Garlington, Lohn & Robinson, PLLP, and Boone, Karlberg & Haddon, and the Seattle law firms of Monahan & Biagi and Bogle & Gates, a large 200+ attorney firm. Prior to law school, David was employed as a certified public accountant by the international accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co. He holds a Masters of Laws degree (LL.M.) in taxation from New York University (1988), a J.D. degree (with honors) from the University of Montana (1985), and a B.A. degree in Business Administration (with honors) from the University of Montana (1979). He is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the U.S. Federal District Court in Montana, and sits on the Advisory Board for the Annual UM Tax Institute.
